As a Pest Control Technician II
, you will be responsible for accurately mixing, loading, transporting, and applying insecticides at customer poultry facilities. This role requires precision, adherence to safety protocols, and excellent customer service skills.

Insecticide Application & Service

• Safely and accurately apply insecticides in poultry facilities using spray, fogging, or baiting methods.
• Monitor application rates and adjust equipment settings to ensure effective coverage.
• Operate and maintain specialized equipment and machinery used in chemical application.
• Deliver professional and responsive customer service during site visits.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) for handling pesticides, disinfectants, and other chemical products.

Compliance & Safety

• Adhere to strict safety and biosecurity protocols.
• Wear required PPE (masks, gloves, eye protection, etc.).
• Maintain accurate documentation of materials used and services provided.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations regarding hazardous materials and pesticide application.

Equipment Maintenance

• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on application machinery.
• Conduct pre- and post-operation inspections to ensure safety and functionality.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule based on demand.
• Capable of maneuvering vehicles and equipment in confined environments.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

• High school diploma or equivalent; no prior industry experience necessary.
• Valid driver’s license with a clean MVR; CDL not required, but a plus.
• Clean motor vehicle record (MVR) with no preventable accident history.
• Must maintain a USDOT physical to operate a commercial vehicle.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

• Work environments include confined poultry housing, outdoor sites, and warehouse operations.
• Exposure to dust, ammonia, chemicals, humidity, and varying weather conditions.
• Regular physical activity, including lifting up to 60 lbs., squatting, twisting, and climbing stairs.
