Base pay range: $16.00/hr - $18.00/hr

• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register and provide courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assist the pharmacist under direct supervision in the practice of pharmacy, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information, process prescriptions, and fill prescriptions by retrieving, counting, and pouring pharmaceutical drugs.
• Resolve customer issues and answer questions to ensure a positive customer experience, including greeting customers, offering assistance with products and services, and ensuring compliance with store systems and policies.
• Perform operational duties such as recommending items for sale, processing voids, returns, refunds and exchanges, handling telephone calls, processing manual claims, inventory management, and maintaining clean and organized counters and shelves.
• Comply with state and federal regulations, company policies, and the Walgreens Co. Pharmacy Code of Conduct.

• Provide courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service to customers.
• Recommend items for sale and provide trade‑up or companion items.
• Register customer purchases, collect cash, distribute change, and handle returns and exchanges.
• Keep counters and shelves clean, merchandised, and stocked; take inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Assist pharmacists with prescription processing, scheduling, and workflow management.
• Report prescription errors immediately and comply with the quality improvement program.
• Handle telephone calls that do not require pharmacist attention.
• Process manual claims for third‑party prescription services and perform other clerical duties as assigned.
• Support pharmacy department inventory management and asset‑protection procedures.
• Ensure compliance with state and local regulations regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional and seasonal setups.
• Assist with food item separation, product placement, and stock rotation.
• Assist with photo services, web pick‑up orders, and store maintenance.
• Maintain respectful relationships with coworkers and complete special assignments and tasks.

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated training program and/or state‑required certification/registration.
• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by the manager or corporate, acquiring continuing education credits.
• Maintain current knowledge and skill in healthcare and pharmacy, including latest developments.

• Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English.
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekend hours.

• At least six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Good math skills for accurately filling prescriptions (counting, measuring, weighing).
• Good computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification.
