Job Description

Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A school psychologist position is available to support students across preschool, elementary, and high school levels in Bear, DE. This full-time, on-site role requires an active Delaware school psychologist license with current documentation, as well as experience working within school settings preferred. The contract runs from ASAP through June 12, 2026.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to identify students' needs and support academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop intervention plans and positive behavioral supports.
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention services for students as needed.
  • Participate in student evaluations for special education and eligibility determination.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation in accordance with regulatory and district guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Active school psychologist license in Delaware.
  • Experience working in school environments, preferably across multiple grade levels (preschool to high school).
  • Strong assessment and counseling skills tailored to diverse student populations.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work on-site full time (37.5 hours per week).

  • Bear, Delaware (on-site role; no remote work option)
