Overview
Unique petting zoo needs an experienced individual to oversee zoo.
Job Details:
- Salaried position & based on experience.
- Housing is provided (if needed).
- Hands-on background in animal care.
- Have leadership qualities.
- Be able to lift 50 pounds or more.
- Keep accurate records.
- Be able to work a 6-day-a-week schedule, during the Summer
- Must have a passion for animals.
Responsibilities:
- You will oversee the care of our animals.
- Provide guidance in animal care.
- Bottle feeding baby animals.
Experienced individual with knowledge of operating all aspects of feeding, caring, and purchasing animals for a small petting zoo. Supervision of staff and creating educational animal presentations to the general public. Design enclosures and housing for our furry creatures. "Jack of all trades", Equine and carpentry skills a plus. Animal Gardens Petting Zoo is part of The Dancing Horses Theatre, which, provides a 90-minute Equine performance.
Providing entertainment for the entire family. Located on 40 acres in a beautiful summer resort located in Wisconsin near the Illinois border.
