Overview
Outpatient MAT Opioid Treatment Program (OTP) – Seeking: RN Nurse Supervisor. Full time position with 5:00 AM – 1:30 PM hours. Beloit Comprehensive Treatment Center (CTC), located in Beloit, WI, is part of Acadia Healthcare's Comprehensive Treatment Centers, the leading provider of medication-assisted treatment in the nation. Our nursing team provides compassionate, high quality safe and efficient medication dispensing to patients seeking recovery from Opioid Use Disorder.
Responsibilities- Direct care for patients and facilitate workflows in an outpatient opioid treatment program (OTP) environment.
- Provide leadership and serve as a resource for staff; maintain standards of professional nursing practice in accordance with clinic policy and procedures.
- Ensure that the Medication Room complies with all facility policies, Federal and State laws and regulations at all times.
- Supervise daily clinical operations for staff, assign work, create and update schedules for providers and support staff as changes are made.
- Supervise and evaluate work activities of nursing, technical, clerical, service or maintenance staff, and other clinic staff as directed.
- Ensure medical records compliance with facility policies and applicable laws; review medical records for compliance.
- Oversee quality assurance activities, participate in program development, and promote continuous improvement of workplace safety and environmental practices.
- Assist with recruitment, hiring, and training of new staff.
- May administer medications per physician/provider orders, document administration accurately, and ensure controlled substance counts on required documents.
- May perform blood and other specimen collection and processing and read test results as ordered by program physicians.
- Based on clinic service model, may transport medication to other locations and/or work on a CTC Mobile Unit.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (RN).
- Minimum of 2+ years related nursing practice.
- Supervisory experience preferred, unless otherwise required by state or licensing requirements.
- Prefer experience in behavioral health/addiction recovery environment (inpatient or outpatient).
- Previous nursing experience in addiction recovery or behavioral health settings (outpatient, inpatient, residential, or correctional facilities).
- Familiarity with Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) including safe handling, administration, and documentation of methadone, buprenorphine, and naltrexone.
- Experience in medication dispensing, monitoring patient dosing, and observing for adverse reactions or medication interactions.
- Understanding of nursing best practices related to substance use treatment, including trauma-informed care and harm reduction principles.
- Accurate and timely documentation of MARs, patient vitals, and incident reports in accordance with state and federal guidelines.
- Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements (e.g., DEA, 42 CFR Part 2, HIPAA, and Joint Commission standards) related to controlled substances and patient care.
- Proven ability to collaborate within a multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated, patient-centered care.
- Current RN license in the state of Wisconsin (WI).
- Current CPR certification, where required by state regulation.
