On Call Registered Nurse (RN)

St. Croix Hospice invites compassionate Registered Nurses to join our team and provide compassionate, 24/7 after‑hours care during evenings, nights, and weekends. In this role you will respond to urgent patient needs, complete evening and weekend admissions, and support families through critical moments with reassurance and expertise.

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s, Bachelor’s, or Master’s)
• 1+ years of recent acute‑care experience required; hospice or home‑care experience preferred
• Current RN license in the state of practice and CPR certification
• Respond to triage calls and perform after‑hours nursing visits for symptom management, admissions, and care‑plan updates
• Develop and adjust individualized care plans based on evolving patient needs
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, teaching patients and caregivers
• Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation of care, outcomes, and communication
• Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver’s license, and proof of auto insurance

• Schedule:
  
  7 days on / 7 days off — Monday‑Thursday 5 PM‑8 AM and Friday 5 PM‑Monday 8 AM
