Job Summary
Join a global leader in engineered solutions driving performance and sustainability in the industrial pumps space. As Regional Sales Manager, you will own the growth strategy for your region, expanding our channel partner network, strengthening key accounts, and delivering profitable sales of industrial pumps, spare parts, and services.
You will lead market development, drive sales programs, and collaborate closely with distributors, end users, internal stakeholders, and regional teams to achieve our bookings and revenue targets. This role requires strong commercial acumen, cultural agility, and the ability to travel (30+%).
Principal Duties And Responsibilities- Grow and optimize the channel network:
Strengthen existing partners, onboard high‑potential distributors, and elevate key account performance. - Drive regional sales execution:
Implement targeted commercial strategies to boost partner engagement, competitiveness, and profitable growth. - Own pipeline and forecasting discipline:
Manage opportunities with partners to meet bookings targets and maintain accurate forecasts. - Lead customer and partner interactions:
Conduct effective virtual and in‑person meetings that advance opportunities and relationships. - Use performance scorecards:
Apply partner and internal scorecards to monitor results, identify gaps, and drive improvement. - Enable partner capability:
Deliver product and application training with support from subject matter experts. - Provide clear commercial insights:
Report weekly on bookings, pipeline health, forecast accuracy, and market trends. - Resolve customer issues decisively:
Address challenges quickly to deliver best‑in‑class solutions and service. - Collaborate cross‑functionally:
Maintain strong alignment with factories, product teams, and leadership, as well as external stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage complex sales cycles and negotiate at a high level.
- Strong leadership, communication, and influencing skills across diverse teams and cultures.
- Solid business and financial acumen with an understanding of technical products and applications.
- Proficient in consultative selling and value‑based positioning.
- Ability to conduct end‑user, engineering firm, and distributor presentations and training.
- Strong problem‑solving orientation and commitment to integrity in channel management.
- Technical aptitude to maintain expertise in SPX FLOW and competitive products.
- Comfortable representing the business at trade shows and industry events.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- Experience in the process components industry and in distribution‑driven sales models.
- Demonstrated ability to build strong customer and partner relationships.
- Experience operating in multicultural environments.
- Fluent in English;
Spanish and/or Portuguese a plus. - Ability to travel within the region (focus on North America).
- Proficient in MS Office and CRM tools (SAP C4C preferred).
