Position Overview

A full-time contract opportunity is available for a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide behavioral health services in a secure clinical environment in Delano, CA. This role offers consistent hours, with the potential to convert into a permanent state position offering full benefits.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as clinician-of-the-day during scheduled workdays to respond to patient emergencies
• Conduct patient interviews and obtain detailed psychosocial and health histories
• Assess and document actual and potential diagnoses and treatment needs
• Plan, implement, and evaluate care based on clinical expertise and patient conditions
• Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in compliance with standards
• Ensure prompt response to patient inquiries and coordinate referral follow-ups
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including physicians, psychiatrists, and allied health professionals to deliver integrated care

Required Qualifications

• Experience:Minimum of 12 continuous months of direct patient care within the last 3 years
• Licensure:Valid California LCSW license (hard copy required)
• Certification:Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
• Identification:Valid photo , Drivers License, or Passport
