Job Title: Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
Location: Delano, California
Employment Type: Full-Time Contract (6 to 9 months, with potential for extension)
Pay Range: $53.50 - $55.50 per hour
Position Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) to join our behavioral health team in Delano, CA. This is a full-time contract opportunity with the potential for long-term employment, offering a competitive hourly wage, weekly pay, and state-level benefits upon permanent hire.
Responsibilities
- Deliver on-call crisis services and provide emergency mental health consultations as needed
- Conduct detailed mental health assessments, including evaluation of criminal and substance use history
- Assess suicide risk with clinical accuracy and ensure proper documentation
- Provide psychotherapy, crisis intervention, and mental health interviews in clinical settings
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to diagnose and manage psychiatric conditions
- Create and maintain individualized treatment plans and consult on complex cases
- Monitor and document patient care in compliance with ethical and regulatory standards
- Recommend clinical interventions and maintain clear communication across interdisciplinary care teams
Qualifications
- Experience:Minimum 12 continuous months of LPCC experience within the last 3 years
- Education:Masters Degree in Counseling or related behavioral health field
- License:Active LPCC license from the California Board of Behavioral Sciences (BBS)
- Certification:Current BLS (Basic Life Support) from the American Heart Association
- :Valid Drivers License or Passport
