Job DescriptionPromotes and contributes positively to inter‑departmental relationships. Ensures all transportation activities align with the mission and goals of the department and organization. Manages the scheduling and routing of transportation appointments, including pickups and drop‑offs. Coordinates all transportation responsibilities to maintain high standards of service. Demonstrates flexibility and the ability to function in an 'as needed' capacity within the marketing, communications, and business development departments.
Educates patients on the principles of CREATION Health during transportation. Creates and maintains a comprehensive database to facilitate reporting on the transportation project for corporate and accounting. Drives transportation vehicles when necessary to meet the facility's needs. Researches and evaluates the viability of new technology for patient transport. Monitors the effectiveness of transportation programs and implements improvements as needed. Regularly communicates with customers to gather feedback and improve service quality.
Manages and supervises transportation staff to ensure efficient operations. Performs other duties as assigned.
- Thorough knowledge of transportation operations in the service area.
- Knowledge of the tourism area as well as familiarity with the attractions and First Aid Facilities preferred.
- Working knowledge of word processing, spreadsheet, and electronic mail software programs.
- Aptitude for strong organizational skills.
- Ability to work with people of various backgrounds.
- Excellent public speaking ability and data collection approach.
- Ability to evaluate and improve the transportation network.
- Ability to respond to emergency calls in a timely manner.
- Must possess a valid driver's license.
- Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English.
- Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
