Base Pay Range$21.00/hr - $25.00/hr
Location: Deland, FL
Job Type: Full-Time Monday through Friday 40 hrs
Reports To: Donald Sprague
What You’ll Do- Conduct routine inspections and perform preventive maintenance on facility systems and equipment
- Service HVAC systems: replace filters, clean ducts, and troubleshoot performance issues
- Inspect and maintain electrical systems, including lighting and wiring
- Perform plumbing repairs: fix leaks, unclog drains, and maintain fixtures
- Complete light carpentry work, including repairing doors, windows, and furniture
- Paint and finish surfaces for upkeep and aesthetics
- Maintain outdoor areas: landscaping, snow removal, and general upkeep
- Troubleshoot and repair equipment and machinery
- Respond quickly to emergency repair requests
- Keep detailed records of maintenance activities and work orders
- Install and set up new equipment and ensure proper functionality
- Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards
- Collaborate with internal departments and external contractors
- Provide excellent service to internal teams by addressing facility-related concerns
- Previous experience in facility maintenance, building services, or similar role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong troubleshooting and repair skills across multiple disciplines (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.)
- Comfortable using hand tools, diagnostic equipment, and basic power tools
- Proficiency with computers and mobile devices, including:
- Email and communication tools
- Work Order Management Systems and CMMS software
- Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Familiarity with BAS (Building Automation Systems) and maintenance software
- Ability to work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to dirt, dust, oils, grease, noise, and various temperatures at times.
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, squat, and climb for extended periods during assigned shifts.
- Ability to climb ladders and work at heights as required.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds unassisted.
- Must be able to work assigned shifts, including overtime and on-call hours as need.
- Willingness to follow all safety procedures and wear PPE as required.

- Technical training or certifications in maintenance-related trades preferred
