A cancer support nonprofit is seeking Patient Support Volunteers to provide compassionate, non-medical support to cancer patients during their treatment. Volunteers will offer snacks and blankets, engage in conversation, and assist nursing staff in the infusion area. Ideal candidates include retirees, cancer survivors, caregivers, or students interested in health fields, with a commitment of at least three hours a week for six months.
All volunteers must pass interviews, health screenings, and background checks.
