The Production Associate is responsible for safely performing job functions at the highest level of quality in processing media, mesh, and elements. The associate records accurate paperwork and record keeping, uses measuring and test equipment as required, and follows all company rules and policies as well as OSHA/EPA regulations. This position reports to the Supervisor of Media and is part of the Metals department.

2nd shift schedule:
Monday through Friday, 3:10 pm to 11:10 pm.

• Inspect, cut, and lay‑up dynalloy, fibermet, and continuous rolls and perform final inspection, trim, and package media products.
• Operate calendaring equipment (rolling mills), hydrogen furnace and vacuum furnaces.
• Stage and unstage media sheets and continuous rolls to manufacturer and thickness specifications.

• High school diploma, G.E.D., or equivalent.
• Experience in like work centers and accuracy using both calipers and micrometers.
• Good mechanical skills and troubleshooting ability.

• Ability to stand, sit, stoop, bend, walk, reach, squat, kneel, push, and pull for a minimum of 8 hours.
• Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to ascend/descend stairs.

• A heavy manufacturing environment.
• Working with steel microfibers.
