Utility Machine Operator—1st and 2nd shift. Responsible for maintaining safe and efficient operations of all filler lines, casers, boxers, tray packer, and bundlers, and work effectively in each area as business needs dictate.

• Set up and operate equipment according to SOP and safe operating guidelines.
• Ensure raw materials are available and materials are managed via WMS.
• Monitor materials and production to ensure quality and compliance.
• Perform necessary quality checks and testing as directed.
• Report safety or quality concerns to supervisor or QA.
• Complete production paperwork accurately and on time.
• Document downtime related to equipment or personnel deficiencies.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area.
• Communicate clearly in writing and orally.
• Deal with changes, delays, or unexpected events under pressure.
• Follow policies and procedures and use equipment properly.
• Observe safety and security procedures and report unsafe conditions.
• Continuously build knowledge and skills.
• Maintain consistent attendance and commit to long hours when necessary.

No supervisory responsibilities.

• High school diploma or GED, or 6–12 months related experience/training, or equivalent combination.
• Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, technical procedures, or regulations.
• Ability to write reports and procedure manuals; present information to managers, clients, customers.
• Mathematical skills including fractions, percentages, ratios, proportions; apply fundamentals to practical situations.
• Reasoning ability to solve practical problems and interpret varied instructions.
• Computer skills: operate handheld WMS scanning device accurately.
• Must possess and maintain forklift and pallet jack operator's license within 7 working days of hire.
• Physical demands: able to sit, use hands, lift up to 50 lbs; vision requirements noted.
• Work environment may involve wet/humid conditions and noise requiring protection.
