Imagine
360 is currently seeking a Certified Medical Assistant or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). This position is responsible for rendering care for patients of the miCare Health Center under the delegation of the miCare Practitioner(s) and will also perform applicable office and clerical duties related to the daily clinic operation.

  • WVHA miCare Clinic Deltona – 840 Deltona Blvd. Unit M, Deltona, FL 32725
Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
  • General MA/LPN duties
    • Utilize Medical Assistant knowledge and skills to perform tasks under the conformance of current and recognized techniques, procedures and standards, including but not limited to:
    • Office reception, greeting patients, answering telephone, and directing calls to patients.
    • Document patients' demographics, history, symptoms and other significant information as directed by the Practitioner(s).
    • Medication administration.
    • Assisting with or performing procedures.
    • Managing patient flow.
    • Perform effective communication with the miCare team and patient to ensure coordination of care.
    • Carry out Practitioner(s) orders accurately and directly.
    • Document provided care as required.
  • Operational Responsibilities
    • Inventory, ordering and restocking supplies.
    • Maintaining documentation and patient files.
    • Maintain a functional and clean work environment.
    • Maintain procedure manual, update as needed and ensure consistent management of procedures.
    • Facilitate Health Fairs/annual HRA draws/flu shots for participating employers.
    • In collaboration with Marketing, develop materials for sales and marketing the miCare clinics.
    • Present to potential and existing clients.
  • Customer Service
    • Act as a role model in demonstrating core values in customer service delivery.
    • Provide timely and thorough follow‑up with internal and external customers.
    • Appropriately escalated difficult issues up the chain of command.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Serve on committees, work groups, and/or process improvement teams to assist in improving quality/customer satisfaction.
    • Recognize and alert appropriate supervisor of trends within scope of responsibility that fall outside of quality parameters.
    • Perform self‑quality monitoring to develop and execute plans to meet established goals.
    • Provide ongoing feedback to help optimize quality performance.
    • Collaborate with others and cross‑departmentally to improve or streamline procedures.
    • Develop new or improve current internal processes to improve quality.
    • Train new employees as assigned.
Required Experience / Education
  • Graduate of a certified medical assistant program
  • 2+ years clinical medical assistant experience with phlebotomy skills
  • Medical terminology proficiency
  • Current BLS certification
  • Working knowledge of computers and software including Microsoft Office products
  • Proficient typing skills
  • Demonstrated organizational, problem‑solving, analytical, and detail‑oriented skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize workloads, multi‑task, and manage priorities to meet deadlines
  • Ability to maintain the confidentiality of protected health information in compliance with HIPAA regulations
  • Indoor office environment with moderate noise
  • Intermittent physical effort involving lifting up to 25 pounds, standing, sitting, walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling, and supporting patients as required
  • Exposure to viruses, diseases, and infections during typical workdays
  • Frequent use of a keyboard and reaching with hands and arms required
  • Normal vision and hearing, including close vision and ability to adjust focus
