General Merchandise Team Leader - Delafield, WI

Job Summary:

Lead a team to achieve department and store sales goals while delivering excellent guest service, maintaining inventory accuracy, merchandising, and compliance.

• Execute daily/weekly workload to deliver on department and store sales goals and guest engagement, including merchandising, pricing, setting and updating merchandise sales‑floor displays, sampling, promotions and price changes.
• Educate your team on operational procedures such as setting up and organizing merchandise, managing product stock levels, and maintaining sales‑floor areas, to impact inventory management, store profitability, and product availability.
• Assist with inventory accuracy, merchandise set‑up and maintenance, and pricing for all store areas.
• Lead daily execution of tasks: receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, arranging merchandise, and putting up promotional signs for GM areas.
• Assign daily tasks to team members based on planned workload and guest traffic patterns, aligning with weekly and monthly business priorities set by leadership.
• Support team in closing, compliance with adult beverage laws, safety, and security protocols.
• Lead and demonstrate a safety culture through modeling safe behaviors, identifying hazards, and assisting with incident response.
• Assist with pick, pack and ship fulfillment when applicable, and assess reporting to identify gaps.
• Collaborate with all teams and leaders to ensure the store is guest ready in alignment with leadership direction.
• Work a flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays.

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Age 18 or older.
• Ability to lead, coach, and hold others accountable.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficiency with handheld scanners and multichannel communication devices.
• Physical ability to lift up to 44 lbs and work in varying temperatures and humidity.

Preferred:

• Previous retail experience.
• Experience in inventory accuracy, merchandising, and pricing.
• Experience leading a team in a fast‑moving, physically demanding environment.
