Job Description
Target is seeking an On-Demand Guest Advocate (Cashier) for the General Merchandise, Fulfillment, Food and Beverage, and Style teams.
The starting hourly rate for this position is $16.00 USD per hour.
About the RoleAs an On-Demand Guest Advocate, you will work a flexible schedule, picking up shifts as needed to support the store's needs. You will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, including interacting with guests, handling cash transactions, and maintaining a clean and clutter-free work area.
Responsibilities- Demonstrate a service culture that prioritizes the guest experience
- Create a welcoming experience by greeting guests and helping to solve their needs
- Scan and bag guest items efficiently and accurately
- Maintain a clean and clutter-free work area
- Support guest services such as order pick up and Drive-up orders
- Work in a safe manner and comply with all safety policies and procedures
- Communicate effectively and work well in a team environment
- Be flexible and able to work varying hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to lift up to 10 pounds frequently and up to 44 pounds occasionally
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift
