As the Lead Housekeeper, you are responsible for maintaining the hotel’s suites, lobbies, rest rooms, and all public areas. Ensure the hotel is ready at all times to receive guests and prospective clients. The Housekeeping staff will report to the Lead Housekeeper when the Housekeeping Supervisor, Housekeeping Manager, Guest Services Manager, Director of Rooms, or General Manager are not on property.

• Makes decisions with Leadership guidance.
• Acknowledges and greets guests in public spaces with a warm, friendly greeting.
• Leads staff in assignments for the day’s schedule.
• Communicates/follows up with Supervisor, Manager, Guest Services Manager, Director, and/or General Manager on any issues or concerns.
• Responds promptly to requests from guests and other departments.
• Reviews daily inventory of supplies needed to complete the assignments for the day.
• Performs cleaning of hotel rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, changing bed linens, cleaning bathrooms, kitchen area, lobby, and common areas.
• Performs quality cleaning to meet required standards within set time limits.
• Complies with all hotel safety guidelines.
• Picks up ground litter around the hotel or other visible areas.
• Maintains proper uniform; clean and free of excessive wrinkles; name tag considered part of the uniform.
• May perform similar duties as requested by Lead Housekeeper.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or equivalent

• One year or more housekeeping and customer service experience, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.

• Associate’s Degree in Hospitality or related field.

• Supervisory experience preferred.

• U.S. Work Authorization (required).
