A bilingual Speech-Language Pathologist is sought to provide specialized testing and initial evaluations within a K-12 school setting in Del Valle, TX. This contract position spans the current school year and focuses exclusively on assessment duties, without caseload management. Fluency in both Spanish and English is essential to serve a diverse student population effectively.
Responsibilities- Conduct timely and thorough speech and language evaluations and initial assessments
- Administer standardized testing to identify communication disorders
- Collaborate with educational staff to support evaluation procedures and documentation
- Maintain clear and accurate records consistent with school policies
- Participate in meetings and interviews as requested by school leadership
- Holds certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist with valid credentials appropriate to school settings (SLP CCC preferred)
- Experience in bilingual assessment with proficiency in Spanish and English
- Skilled in conducting comprehensive testing and evaluations within educational environments
- Ability to work flexible hours within the 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM school day, accommodating school needs
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
