Service Technician Laborer Equal Opportunity Employer Minority Female Disability Veteran  Red River Waste Solutions is an environmental services company that provides waste management solutions for the communities we serve As a company that serves many communities throughout the United States we are looking to add another team member to the RRWS family As a Service Technician Laborer with Red River Waste Solutions you will be responsible for providing safe courteous and complete wasterecycle collection services by assisting Drivers on an assigned routes collecting and hauling wasterecycled materials to a landfill transfer station or recycle plant This position is one of the most physically demanding jobs because you will be routinely required to exert physical labor such as lifting pushing and pulling trash receptacles weighing up to approximately 75 lbs pounds from the ground multiple times throughout the workday Service Techs canwill be exposed to extreme weather conditions and unpleasant odors and sights The hours and physical demands may vary by routearea RESPONSIBILITIES Safely perform job duties in compliance with all local state and federal regulations and company policies

Operate a packing mechanism and various leverhandles on a truck to activate the liftingloading mechanism

Provide waste or recycling collection services to customers on an assigned routes by emptying trashrecycling cartscontainers into trucks

Replace trashrecycling cartscontainers neatly at the curb or designated area Safely assist Driver in backing up the truck by directing the Driver from outside the truck

May assist in unloading or cleaning truck

Clean up waste spills and overflows

Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS Ability to perform physical requirements of the job prolonged physical exertions including repetitive lifting pushing pulling and climbing

General knowledge of the mechanics of trucks

Ability to work overtime andor holidays

Ability to work in all weather conditions

Good written and verbal communication skills

Additional skills may be required to perform additional tasks specific to work location department or line of business

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Must be eligible to work in the United States Must be at least 18 years of ageMust complete the pre employment screening

Must be able to read and speak the English language well enough to communicate understand and respond to questions directions traffic signs signals and safety training
