• Provide personal financial counseling and management services directly to service members and their families.
• Assist service members in establishing a spending plan for extended absences.
• Develop and make available informational financial materials.
• Coordinate, publicize, and provide a wide variety of personal financial management classes and workshops covering the military lifecycle.
• Respond to requests for age‑appropriate classes or seminars.
• Utilize virtual counseling or other electronic modes of communication as authorized by the OSD FINRED Program Office.
• Manage duty‑to‑warn situations per Department of Defense protocol.
• Communicate with leadership and participate in regular supervision and group meetings to share trends and issues.
• Participate in in‑services, training, quality‑improvement committees, or other contract activities as assigned.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor's degree required (associate degree plus 4 years experience or high school diploma plus 6 years experience may be considered).
• 3+ years of financial counseling experience.
• U.S. citizenship and fluent English (bilingual English/Spanish if required by contract).
• Obtain a favorably adjudicated Tier 2 investigation.
• Pass the Congressionally Mandated Disclosures for Organizational Conflicts of Interest (OCI) process.
• Certified financial counseling credential: AFC, CFP, or ChFC.

Base salary range: $53,125 – $84,995.
