Site Engineering Director

An extremely reputable, global industrial manufacturing organization is seeking a Site Engineering Director due to a retirement. Reporting to the VP/GM for this flagship production operation, this role will strategically lead a large engineering organization and be responsible for process engineering, new product introduction, and developing high-performing engineering teams. This is a permanent, direct-hire opportunity.

• Provide overall technical leadership for Process Engineering, Product Engineering, and Technical Tooling functions supporting manufacturing performance, product consistency, and customer specifications
• Lead initiatives focused on yield improvement, variation reduction, and cost optimization in ceramic core and related manufacturing processes
• Direct tooling and product design standards while managing engineering budgets and resource allocation across the facility
• Oversee New Product Introduction activities to ensure execution to timeline, cost, and quoted performance requirements
• Develop and execute plant-wide scrap reduction strategy in partnership with operations and corporate engineering leadership
• Drive cost improvement, product enhancement, and production problem-solving initiatives across the engineering organization
• Build organizational capability through talent development, succession planning, and creation of an engaged, high-performance engineering culture

• Minimum of 10 years of engineering leadership or closely related technical manufacturing experience
• Strong technical background spanning manufacturing processes, tooling, and machining within a production environment
• Demonstrated analytical and strategic leadership capability with the ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders
• Eligibility to work in the United States in compliance with ITAR requirements without sponsorship
