PT Teller​/Dekalb

This Position is for a Part Time Teller with a bank location in Dekalb, MS. May work Monday to Friday; typically 20-24 hours per week. Will float between Dekalb/Scooba branches.

Provide excellent service to bank clients by conducting appropriate transactions. Meet the needs of clients through a hands‑on approach to service, as well as facilitating referrals to other departments or employees when necessary.

• Conduct appropriate teller transactions, including the deposit and disbursement of cash, coins and checks from checking and savings accounts;
• Redeem U. S. Savings Bonds;
• Accept loan payments;
• Answer client questions concerning interest rates, service charges and account histories while complying with federal disclosure requirements;
• Issue money orders and cashier's checks;
• Count and roll loose coins;
• Identify counterfeit currency;
• Provide excellent service through all points of contact with clients;
• Cover all Philadelphia area branches;
• Other duties as assigned.

• 6 months – 1 year experience as a teller or in a cash handling position.
• Previous work experience in an office environment.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Proficient general math skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and other PC applications.
• High School or GED Equivalent.
