POSITION SUMMARY
The Payroll Administrator is primarily responsible for the effective and efficient operations of all payroll and employee benefit functions of ENCAP, Inc. This position is expected to work in close coordination with and collaboratively with other Directors and the Company President, Vice President, and Assistant Vice President.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Prepare and submit weekly payroll in accordance with all state, federal and local laws as applicable by each contract for all ENCAP, Inc. employees.
- Maintain accurate records of time sheets for all employees.
- Maintain accurate records of time off.
- Prepare and send out all certified payroll reports as required per contract requirements.
- Prepare and submit certified payroll reports to the Department of Labor website.
- Keep up‑to‑date records of all Prevailing Wage rates and Davis Bacon rates.
- Keep up‑to‑date records of all per diem rates as necessary for all traveling crews.
- Enter journal entries into Quickbooks as necessary.
- Set up new employees for all offered benefits, as necessary.
- Maintain all employee benefit records and review any benefits invoices as necessary.
- Assist with any year‑end reporting or audits as necessary, involving wages and benefits.
- Collaborate with other Directors and assist with preparation of project and financial analysis necessary to evaluate ENCAP operations.
- Other administrative duties as directed by the President, Vice President, or Assistant Vice President.
- Demonstrate good organizational skills, ability to work under multiple deadlines, and flexibility to handle changing priorities.
- Maintain a high level of professional conduct and a positive attitude while interacting with the public and ENCAP clients.
- Maintains appropriate professional and technical knowledge through attending professional development classes and workshops develop their technical skills.
- Must be proficient in computer programs such as Quickbooks, Microsoft Suite, Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Ability to learn additional software as necessary to carry out payroll functions.
