Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a History Teacher based in Dehradun for a Boarding school. The History Teacher's responsibilities include delivering engaging lessons in World and indian History, developing lesson plans, and designing effective curriculum strategies. The role requires facilitating thoughtful discussions that encourage student participation and fostering a deep understanding of historical contexts.
Qualifications
Expertise in World History and Indian History, with a strong understanding of historical events and their significance
Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Curriculum Development tailored to academic goals
Background in History Education, with the ability to engage and inspire students
Excellent communication and classroom management skills
A master's degree in History and Bachelors in Education
Prior teaching experience in history for Classes 9-12 in ISC/ICSE board is necessary
