Spanish Teacher

Key Responsibilities
Teach Spanish as an academic subject up to Class 10 in accordance with ICSE or other relevant curricula.
Plan and deliver engaging lessons focusing on listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
Introduce students to Spanish-speaking cultures, traditions, history, and contemporary society to enhance language learning.
Prepare students for assessments, language certifications (such as DELE, where applicable), and inter-school or cultural exchange programmes.
Contribute actively to the boarding school environment, taking on responsibilities beyond classroom teaching as required.
Stay updated with modern language teaching methodologies and participate in professional development initiatives. Stay updated with modern language teaching methodologies and participate in professional development initiatives.
Collaborate with other language faculty on interdisciplinary projects.
Organise language-related activities and workshops, to enrich the school's cultural life.

Qualifications and Competence
Postgraduate degree in Spanish Language or an equivalent recognised qualification.
Strong command over spoken and written Spanish, including grammar, pronunciation, and syntax.
Minimum 3–5 years of teaching experience in a school setting; experience in a boarding school is preferred.
Excellent communication and organisational skills.
Ability to motivate students with diverse learning needs and language abilities
