Lead Framing Foreman

Full-Time Hourly 7 AM-5:25 PM Mon-Thurs 7 AM-1 PM Fridays

Location:

Job sites are usually within 60 miles of DeForest, Wisconsin (Madison metro area)

About the Role

We need a Lead Framing Foreman who knows framing inside and out and can run a crew the right way. You'll lead teams of 6 to 20 people on large commercial and multifamily projects across southern Wisconsin.

You should be confident in your skills but willing to do things the QBC way. It's okay to not have all the answers. We want someone who asks questions and works with leadership to solve problems, not someone who wings it.

What You'll Do

• Lead crews of 6 to 20 people on stick-built and panelized wall projects
• Plan and assign daily tasks for your crew
• Track employee time for timesheets and project hours
• Read blueprints and solve problems when issues come up
• Run pitched roof truss sets
• Work with other foremen and leadership to keep projects on track

Requirements

• 7+ years of framing experience
• 2+ years as a Lead Foreman
• Able to read blueprints
• Strong attention to detail
• Good communicator who leads by example
• Basic knowledge of anchor and strapping installation, decks, and stair installation
• Reliable transportation to job sites within 60 miles of DeForest, Wisconsin
• Bonus:
  Bilingual in English and Spanish

Compensation

$37 - $42/hour depending on experience
