DeForest Windsor Fire & EMS is currently accepting applications for the position of Firefighter/Paramedic
. This is an exciting opportunity to join a progressive, community-focused department committed to professional service delivery, high-quality training, and operational excellence in both fire suppression and advanced life support EMS. Qualified candidates will work as part of a dedicated team serving the communities of DeForest and Windsor, providing emergency response, patient care, and public safety services while upholding the department’s values of integrity, teamwork, and professionalism.

Position:
Full-time Firefighter/Paramedic
Salary:
Firefighter/Paramedic – approximately $70,431
Schedule:
48hrs/week
- State of Wisconsin certified Paramedic
- Current AHA BLS
- Current AHA ACLS
- State of Wisconsin Firefighter I
- CEVO certification or be able to obtain within six months of hire
- Valid Wisconsin driver’s license
- Ability to meet Dane County EMS insurance requirements
- Working knowledge of PCs and Microsoft applications
- State of Wisconsin Firefighter II
- State of Wisconsin Motor Pump Operator
- State of Wisconsin Aerial Operator
- IFSAC or Pro Board Fire Inspector I
