Summary/ObjectiveProvide support and customer service for trainings and events.
EssentialJob Duties
- Assist Education Coordinator with programs and presentations.
- Collaborate with environmental agencies.
- Interact with public during training events and activities.
- Maintain a safe and friendly learning environment.
Job Duties
- Other duties, as assigned.
- High school diploma or G.E.D./HiSET equivalent.
- At least one (1) year of related experience
Skills and Abilities
- Ability to use office equipment, such as computer, calculator, camera, scanner and printer
- Time management and organizational skills.
- Excellent customer service and communication skills.
- Frequently work in a standard office environment.
- Frequently work in outdoor weather and/or in an office setting
- Frequently required to stand and walk for extended periods of time.
- Multi-tasking in an office environment, often sitting for long periods at a time.

ExemptionStatus/Special Notes
This position has been determined to be Nonexempt according to the Fair Labor Standards Act. Employees must agree to accept compensatory time in lieu of cash payments in accordance with the Department's Compensatory Time Off and Overtime Policy.
Salaried and hourly employees are expected to use a mobile device-cellular phone for Department business, as needed.
