Position Overview

Mercy Health is seeking a board‑certified or board‑eligible Otolaryngologist (ENT) to join our well‑established practice at Defiance Clinic in Defiance, Ohio. This is an excellent opportunity to provide high‑quality, patient‑focused care in a collaborative clinic and hospital‑based setting, with the added benefit of seamless connections to larger tertiary centers within Mercy Health’s regional network. The ideal candidate will thrive in a supportive community environment, enjoy a diverse patient panel, and be eager to grow a practice that serves both adult and geriatric populations.

Highlights
  • Balanced

    Schedule:

    Monday‑Friday, 8‑hour clinic days with shared call responsibility (weekend call as assigned).
  • Patient Volume:
    Average of 20–28 patients per day (adult and geriatric).
  • Procedures Commonly Performed:
    • Tonsillectomy & Adenoidectomy
    • Myringotomy & Tube Placement
    • Sinus Surgery
    • Thyroidectomy
    • Septoplasty
    • Frenulectomy
    • Tympanoplasty
    • Parotidectomy
  • Clinic Support:
    Dedicated LPNs and RNs, with access to on‑site RT, Radiology, Lab, and Sleep Lab.
  • Ancillary Services:
    Radiology, PT/OT, Speech Pathology, Social Work, and access to multiple specialty practices including surgery, cardiology, OB/GYN, orthopedics, podiatry, wound care, neurology, oncology, pain management, pulmonary, behavioral health, and more.
