Position: Support Time and Recovery Worker (STAR) - Flintshire LPMHSS
Location: Shotton

Overview

Provide support and give time to an allocated group of service users, and promote their recovery supporting their return to a community environment, or supporting them to maintain their place in the community. Support service users to meet their identified needs and outcomes, paying attention to and respecting their values, wishes and aspirations to lead their lives in the way they choose, supporting them to access community resources and services, such as housing and benefits.

Responsibilities
  • Support and facilitate the organization of clinical activity, assist in the delivery of group and individual work while continuing to support and deliver clinical activity as required.
  • Work independently and liaise with various third‑sector agencies, organizations and carers.
  • Maintain excellent multidisciplinary working relationships and establish and maintain excellent links with GP practices.
Qualifications
  • Excellent communication skills, self‑motivated, proactive and committed to promoting innovation for service delivery.
  • Excellent multidisciplinary working ability.
  • Ability to speak Welsh is desirable;
    Welsh and/or English speakers are equally welcome to apply.
