Overview

We'd like you to join us as a Night Time Support Worker at our client's home in Mancot, North Wales. This is a 1:1 person-centred overnight support role that focuses on promoting independence and providing minimal-yet-impactful assistance.

Responsibilities
  • Provide overnight support during Sleep Night shifts (23 nights per week).
  • Support a gentleman in a quiet, calm home environment, promoting independence and confidence.
  • Manage nightly routines and shift times: 9pm–8am; during sleep night 10pm–6am; night-time routine 9pm–10pm; morning routine 6am–8am.
  • Travel to the client s location by car; driving is essential.
  • Engage with 1:1, person-centred care; assist with hoisting and mobility as required; the individual uses a power chair.
  • Support collaboration and autonomy, ensuring care is guided by the person you are supporting.
What you'll be joining
  • A peaceful, two-bedroom bungalow where comfort and familiarity matter.
  • Your own staff bedroom for restful sleep nights.
  • Shared kitchen and bathroom in a space that feels like home.
  • A nightly routine guided by the person you're supporting; you walk beside them.
Who you'll be supporting

Meet a quietly determined individual whose life changed following a diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis, but whose drive to maintain independence is unwavering. He uses a power chair and requires hoisting assistance, but don't let that define him. He values structure, kindness, and gentle encouragement. While confidence has wavered recently, his openness and approachability create space for trust and connection. Your presence matters to enable, not take over.

Your

approach
  • You're someone who understands that care is a collaboration, not a command.
  • You respect autonomy.
  • You listen, support, and empower.
  • You find joy in offering just enough help to let someone flourish.
  • Driving is essential, and prior care experience is a bonus but compassion leads the way.
What you'll gain
  • Up to £14 per hour depending on NVQ qualification.
  • Dive into fully funded training and development.
  • Enjoy consistent work with rolling rotas.
  • Accrued holiday pay and a flexible zero-hours contract.
  • Access to the Active Learning Hub with opportunities.
  • Nest Personal Pension scheme.
  • Celebrate your achievements with Active Awards.
  • Earn up to £1000 through our Refer-a-Friend scheme.
  • Feel empowered by supportive managers and leadership.
  • Thrive in a company that's proudly Disability Confident and inclusive.

Come Be a Part of Something Meaningful! We're committed to creating a supportive and accessible recruitment process for everyone. If you have a disability and need adjustments to participate in interviews or perform key job tasks, we're here to help make that happen.
