Title: Sr. Project Manager
Location: Deerfield, IL (Remote)
Duration & Type: 6 Month Contract (with likely extension)
Compensation: Competitive W2 Hourly Rate ($85 - 85.70), Access to Healthcare and Dental Insurance Plan of Choice. (Benefit Plans can be requested at time of submission to client)
Chamberlain Advisors is seeking a Sr. Project Manager to lead high-impact initiatives within a large, complex enterprise environment. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering complex projects and programs that have significant organizational impact, ensuring alignment to business objectives, timelines, and budgets. The ideal candidate brings strong leadership capabilities, deep project management expertise, and the ability to work effectively with both IT and non-IT stakeholders, including senior leadership.

- Lead complex, high-visibility projects and programs with significant impact to the organization.
- Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including scope, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk management strategies.
- Create and maintain detailed Work Breakdown Structures (WBS) and project schedules.
- Manage project scope, change control, risks, issues, and quality assurance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in alignment with organizational standards and objectives.
- Conduct project and program management assessments to evaluate performance and identify improvement opportunities.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams, assigning work based on skills, capacity, and delivery timelines.
- Resolve project conflicts and escalate issues appropriately to impacted stakeholders and leadership.
- Manage project financials, including forecasting, tracking, and reporting for budgets of $1M or greater.
- Partner with business and domain stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into actionable project plans.
- Support integration of project management practices across teams, contributing to process improvement and organizational maturity.
- Prepare and deliver clear status reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Typically 8 or more years of experience in project or program management roles.
- Extensive experience developing full project plans, including charters, scope, project management approach, schedules, and financial forecasts.
- Demonstrated experience managing complex projects and budgets of at least $1M.
- Strong experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders at all organizational levels.
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage IT, non-IT, and senior leadership audiences.
- Experience with multiple project management methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
- PMP certification. (Preferred)
- Experience supporting pharmacy-related initiatives or healthcare environments. (Preferred)
- Experience working with specialty pharmacy programs. (Preferred)
