Job DescriptionThe Lead Project Manager will drive strategic IT initiatives focused on Digital Transformation relative to middle and back-office modernization. This role requires expertise in managing complex projects that integrate business processes and systems across manufacturing, supply chain, digital/web and finance. The ideal candidate combines strong project leadership with deep knowledge of ERP systems and integrated applications, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and measurable business outcomes.
Key Responsibilities- Project Planning & Governance:
Define project scope, objectives, KPIs, and deliverables aligned with business strategy and OKRs. - Develop comprehensive project plans, charters, and resource strategies ensuring 3-in-the-box (IT, Business, Partner) alignment for all project decisions.
- Facilitate stakeholder buy-in and lead vendor selection processes.
- Execution & Delivery:
Manage medium-to-large scale projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. - Maintain project schedules, risk registers, and status reports; proactively mitigate risks and resolve blockers.
- Oversee resource allocation and interdependencies across IT and business work streams.
- Vendor & Partner Management:
Coordinate with external vendors and consultants to ensure deliverables meet contractual and quality requirements. - Monitor vendor performance and compliance with project objectives.
- Leadership &
Collaboration:
Lead cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability. - Provide guidance and mentorship to team members, ensuring high performance and engagement.
- Quality Assurance & Compliance:
Implement QA processes and ensure compliance with SDLC, PMO standards, and SOX controls. - Drive project closure activities, including capital reconciliation, retrospectives, scorecards, and transition to steady-state operations.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
Deliver clear, tailored communications to stakeholders, including steering committees and executive leadership. - Lead stage-gate reviews and manage expectations with transparency and professionalism.
- Change Management & Training:
Partner with OCM leads to support organizational change initiatives. - Oversee development and delivery of end-user training and maintain comprehensive documentation.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Business, or related field (master’s preferred).
- 10+ years of IT Project Management experience. With areas such as but not limited to:
Oracle/SAP ERP implementations, acquisition integrations, and modernization of manufacturing, supply chain, digital/web and finance processes. - Strong understanding of ERP systems, SDLC, Agile/Hybrid methodologies, and enterprise application implementations.
- Proficiency in Smartsheet and Service Now PPM tools.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- PMP certification preferred.
- Scrum Master (CSM/PSM) preferred.
