Job DescriptionAs the Lead Business Analyst‑Design to Value within the Product Development Strategy group, you will shape our product future by turning data into action. You’ll translate financials, market trends, consumer behavior, and internal performance into actionable insights to optimize our portfolio and unlock new value opportunities.
Responsibilities Financial & Value Analysis- Conduct detailed P&L analysis, cost‑structure analysis, and profitability reviews across categories, brands, and channels.
- Build financial models, dashboards, and reports to illuminate business performance.
- Leverage advanced analytics to dissect value chains and cost structures versus competitors.
- Gather product, pricing, channel, and BOM data from internal and marketplace sources.
- Use web scraping and text analytics to extract insights from customer reviews, warranties, and social media.
- Maintain a structured database for easy data access and analysis.
- Monitor competitors, market trends, and industry best practices to spot opportunities and threats.
- Analyze data to pinpoint market and consumer trends relevant to product design.
- Use statistical tools to identify patterns and correlations within data sets.
- Support the Insights Leader with data analysis and reporting on consumer research.
- Partner with the Revenue Growth Management team to define pricing and margin strategies.
- Provide data‑driven insights for pricing decisions.
- Create and refine analytical models to answer specific business questions.
- Apply predictive analytics to forecast trends and outcomes.
- Stay current with emerging analytics techniques and recommend new tools.
- Develop program workbooks documenting findings, methodologies, and tools for stakeholder sharing.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Statistics, Data Science, Economics, or a related field.
- 7+ years of experience in business analysis, product strategy, or consumer insights.
- Proficiency in statistical tools (Excel, R, Python, SQL) and dashboarding (Tableau, Power BI).
- Experience with P&L analysis, financial modeling, and market research methods.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for diverse audiences.
- Collaborative mindset and ability to work independently in cross‑functional settings.
- Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, or related field.
- Experience in consumer products, manufacturing, or design‑to‑value frameworks.
- Familiarity with web scraping and text analytics platforms.
Base salary range: $90,000 – $143,000 USD. Total compensation may include annual bonuses or sales‑incentive plans, depending on performance and role. Benefits include health plans, 401(k) with company match, product discounts, flexible time off, adoption benefits, and ERGs.
