Job Description:

The Manager, Talent Management Operations will oversee the execution and continuous improvement of enterprise talent programs, with a strong focus on performance management, goal setting, talent reviews, and succession planning. This role blends operational leadership, systems ownership, and data governance to ensure talent initiatives are delivered effectively, consistently, and with high quality. The position partners closely with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, HR Technology teams, and external vendors, and directly manages one senior team member.

Responsibilities
  • Lead the end-to-end execution of enterprise performance management processes, including goal setting, check-ins, mid-year reviews, and year-end evaluations.
  • Drive annual performance and goal-setting launches, ensuring system readiness, stakeholder alignment, communication, and adoption.
  • Manage talent-related data governance, including file uploads, audits, reconciliations, and reporting accuracy.
  • Execute talent review and succession planning processes, partnering with HR leaders to support calibration, readiness assessments, and actionable outcomes.
  • Serve as the operational owner and subject matter expert for performance management systems, including configuration, enhancements, and optimization.
  • Partner with HR technology vendors to manage releases, resolve issues, and improve system functionality and user experience.
  • Oversee integration and administration across performance, engagement, and talent platforms (e.g., performance, survey, mentoring tools).
  • Lead, coach, and develop a senior associate to ensure strong execution and professional growth.
  • Deliver reporting and insights on participation, goal completion, succession readiness, and program effectiveness.
  • Create and maintain SOPs, job aids, and training materials to support talent programs and system usage.
  • Lead enablement sessions and training for HR partners and key stakeholders as needed.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree preferred.
  • 5+ years of experience in talent management, HR operations, or HR program management.
  • Strong experience with performance management, succession planning, and talent review processes.
  • Hands-on experience with HR systems and performance management platforms (HRSoft, Workday, or similar).
  • Demonstrated ability to manage HR data, reporting, and system integrations with high accuracy.
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring team members preferred.
  • Strong project management, communication, and stakeholder partnership skills.
