Financial Analyst

Location:

Deerfield, IL – hybrid 4 days on site

Length: 3 month contract (will be extended)

• Work with financials related to capital projects
• Understand project coding and the difference between capital and expense
• Work with large data sets; create pivot tables and filters with minimal training
• Use Power BI to export data and analyze for data gaps
• Prepare journal entry templates; work with general ledger accounts and cost centers
• Allocate costs and perform reclasses (moving costs between areas or projects)
• Familiarity with budget and forecast processes
• Experience with SAP and Ariba purchase orders

• Good communication; responsive to emails and Teams
• Ability to meet deadlines
• Collaborative mindset with ability to provide backup/coverage
• Curious, inquisitive; able to work with a large team

• Prior experience in financial analysis related to capital projects and data analysis
• Proficiency with pivot tables, data filtering, and large data sets
• Experience with Power BI and data gap analysis
• Experience with journal entries, general ledger, cost centers, and cost allocations
• Knowledge of SAP and Ariba purchase orders
