Our team of Account Managers and Staffing Coordinators work together to refer high-caliber professionals with various degrees, certifications, and licenses. We primarily provide supplemental staffing services to school districts, hospitals, mental health centers, outpatient facilities, and residential homes.

Job Description

Under the supervision of a classroom teacher, the paraprofessional provides instructional assistance to students requiring academic intervention. Candidates should demonstrate good personal character and classroom assistance skills, supporting the implementation of educational programs.

Open positions include Classroom Aid, One-on-One, Behavioral, and Autism Paraprofessional roles for students from PreK-12th grade.

We have clients in Lake County, IL, seeking Paraprofessionals who can start immediately.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in classroom activities using materials/methods designed by the special education teacher.
  • Collaborate with teachers and support staff to evaluate student progress and implement objectives.
  • Support physical and behavioral management programs.
  • Supervise students in various settings, ensuring a safe, positive environment.
  • Assist students with personal care needs, including hygiene, feeding, and mobility.
  • Provide support for students with personal care accommodations, such as nebulizing, catheterizing, and suctioning.
  • Manage physical and behavioral challenges, including monitoring suspensions or timeout, and restraining disruptive students when necessary.
  • Work with adolescents or in educational settings to develop reading, math, and writing skills, demonstrating sound judgment.

Applicants must be Paraprofessional Certified by the state of Illinois.
