Director of Industrial Design – Moen Brand- Role Focus
:
Lead a world‑class industrial design team, shaping thoughtful product experiences across the Moen brand. - Team Development
:
Build, inspire, and manage a high‑performance design team; foster growth, set clear goals, and celebrate successes. - Design & Project Leadership
:
Own the creative vision, trend strategy, and execution across kitchen, bath, and shower environments; translate global trend forecasts into actionable insights; travel 20–40% (Cleveland and Shanghai studios). - Process & Capability Development
:
Establish best‑in‑class design processes, adopt trend forecasting, user‑centered design, and emerging technologies; lead in CAD, Adobe Creative Cloud, Keyshot, and VR environments.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design or related field.
- 15+ years of industrial design experience (consumer or interior goods). 10+ years mentoring design teams.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating consumer product success and trend communication.
- Experience guiding products from concept to launch, including digitally enabled items.
- UX fundamentals and collaboration with digital teams.
- Proficient in Solid Works, Keyshot, Adobe Creative Cloud; familiarity with VR/AR or AI design tools.
- Advocacy for sustainability and circular design principles.
- Design experience for interior, architecture or home markets with connected products.
- Knowledge of design systems and multi‑brand visual language.
Base salary range: $140,000 – $200,000 USD. Eligible for annual bonus or role‑based sales incentive. Full benefits package includes health plans, 401(k) with company match, flexible time, product discounts, and ERGs.
