Job Description SummaryThe Customer Service Specialist is responsible for interacting with customers on behalf of the company to provide information and respond to inquiries regarding new orders, existing orders, product support, and complaints.
Responsibilities- Entry and processing of customer and sample orders accurately and efficiently.
- Interface with all Capol departments and/or outside warehouse partners that support the COFP.
- Create new and maintain existing customer accounts in the ERP system.
- Liaison between customers and Capol internal departments for the purpose of order fulfillment, shipping requirements, customer service and technical support.
- Relay information to sales representatives/managers, as well as customers via e-mail and phone calls.
- Communicate clearly and concisely with internal and external customers at all levels of the organization, using verbal and written distribution channels.
- Adjust promptly and calmly to change, work well as part of a team, and remain calm under pressure. Operate independently with minimal supervision.
- High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- 0-3 years’ office experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
- Familiarity with ERP and CRM systems – a plus.
- Communicate with others and exchange accurate information.
- Operate a computer and other office machinery or equipment.
- Ability to move about inside the office to access file cabinets or office machinery.
