$95,000- $102,000/Annually (Dependent on experience)

Position Overview
The Accounting Auditor will review, reconcile, and correct payment data in our new financial system.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit historical and current payment records
- Reconcile accounts payable ledgers across multiple locations
- Identify and resolve discrepancies, duplicate payments, and misapplied transactions
- Ensure accuracy of payment data within the new system
- Quickly learn internal accounting workflows and ERP structures
- Correct errors, misapplications, or inconsistencies in migrated data
- Ensure all payments are properly reflected in the updated system
- Adhere to accounting standards and internal controls
- Support audit readiness for internal or external reviews
- Recommend improvements to prevent future discrepancies
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of auditing experience within accounting
- Comfortability with accounting software
- Microsoft Office experience (specifically Excel)
- Ability to find discrepancies and correct errors
- Deadline driven and detail oriented
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
