Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced ICU RN for a night shift assignment requiring recent ICU travel experience and active FL or compact license.

Responsibilities

• Work in an ICU setting on the 7th floor of a hospital

• Night shifts consisting of three 12-hour shifts per week (19:00-07:30)

• Required to work every other weekend and as needed on holidays

• Floating to other units as needed

• Patient care includes vent therapy and hemodynamic drips

• Hurricane sign-up required as part of facility policy but may not be activated

• All staff must be smoke-free during the assignment

• Basic Arrhythmia assessment must be passed with overall Angoff score of 83% or greater and 100% in lethal rhythm section

• Remediation process required if initial arrhythmia test is not passed

• Study materials and orientation tips are provided online

• Locals within a 60-mile radius are accepted at a different pay rate

Requirements

• Active FL or compact RN license required at time of consideration

• Minimum two years of recent, consecutive ICU experience in a US hospital within the last 24 months

• Recent travel nursing experience required

• ACLS and BLS certifications from AHA required

• NIH Stroke Scale certification required

• Degree from an accredited nursing school or institution approved by FBON

• Vent therapy and hemodynamic gtt experience required

• Preferred experience in SICU, MICU, Trauma, or Stepdown/PCU

• Pass/fail EKG and basic arrhythmia testing required before start

• Proof of vaccination required; no declinations accepted
