Mammography Technologist, Deerfield Imaging PT

Overview

Provides a variety of mammographic procedures on women and men following established protocols. Performs bone densitometry studies. Safely ensures quality radiographs, follows radiation protection standards and participates in the department continuous quality improvement process. Ensures customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all assigned patients.

Employment type:

Part-time. Shift: 8:30A-5P. Sign-On Bonus:
Up to $12,000.

• Perform mammography procedures in accordance with established protocols.
• Perform bone densitometry studies.
• Ensure quality radiographs and proper radiation protection.
• Participate in the department's continuous quality improvement processes.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and appropriateness of care for all assigned patients.

Degrees:

• High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS).
• Certified Radiologic Technologist.
• ARRT Registered Technologist - Radiography.

Additional Qualifications:

• Education:
  
  Graduate of an approved AMA Council of Education program in Radiologic Technology.
• Registration: ARRT in Radiologic Technology.
• ARRT eligible for Mammography.

Minimum

Required Experience:

Less than 1 year.
