We pride ourselves on combining old-school values with innovative technology todeliver reliable, high-quality services. We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering CADD Technician to join our team in our Deerfield Beach office.
The Engineering CADD Technician will assist project engineers by preparing construction drawings and plans for civil infrastructure projects including water, sewer, drainage, roadway, and site development. The role requires astrong command of AutoCAD Civil 3D, a solid understanding of engineering design principles, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet project deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Produce construction drawings, plan sets, and technical details for civil engineering projects
- Prepare utility, grading, and drainage plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D
- Interpret and apply engineering markups and redlines
- Assistin compiling drawing sets and supporting documentation for permitting and construction
- Coordinate with engineers and project managers to ensure drawings are consistent with project requirements
- Maintain organized digital file structures and follow company CAD standards
- Ensure accuracy and quality of work while meeting schedules and deadlines
- Minimumof 2 years of experience in civil engineering drafting
- Proficient in AutoCAD Civil 3D (latest version required)
- Familiarity with civil engineering infrastructure such as water, sewer, stormwater, and roadway systems
- Abilityto read and understand engineering plans and specifications
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Abilityto work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
