St. Ambrose Catholic School in Deerfield Beach, Florida is looking to hire a qualified and experienced full-time Middle School Math and Science Teacher for the upcoming 2026-27 school year. This teacher will be required to plan, organize, and implement an appropriate instructional program for middle school mathematics and science for grades 6-8. The candidate performs all duties and responsibilities in alignment with the mission, vision, and values of the Catholic Archdiocese of Miami.
Salary is commensurate with certification and years of service.
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, or Education required.
- Florida Department of Education Teacher Certificate in related field, Math or Science; temporary or professional required.
- Must be knowledgeable in all levels of middle school math and science.
- Teaching experience preferred.
- Excellent classroom management and program organizational skills and excellent attendance ethics.
- Proficiency in using digital books and interactive classroom technology such as MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and digital grade books.
- Excellent oral and written English communication skills, including clear speaking voice.
- Good spelling and grammar are required.
- Fully committed, supportive and respectful of the mission and tenets of the Roman Catholic Church.
- Knowledge of tenets of Catholic Church and parish structures.
