Bright Horizons at JM Family is hiring in Deerfield, FL. Full‑time and part‑time positions available, with infants, toddlers, twos, and floating between age groups.
Work hours:
9:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m. or 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Competitive pay: $16.50–$22.30 per hour, based on education and experience.
Preferred qualifications:
DCF
45hrs/exams completed (contingent upon state residency or time in field), CDA.
- Create hands‑on activities to meet the needs and interests of the children.
- Maintain open communication with parents, sharing their child's daily milestones.
- Ensure a safe and clean classroom by following essential procedures and guidelines.
- At least 18 years old with a high‑school diploma or GED.
- 1 year of professional experience teaching in child‑care, daycare, or preschool settings (preferred).
- CDA, associate, or bachelor’s degree in early education or related field (preferred).
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practice (DAP) for children.
- Must pass required state and company background checks.
Compliance with federal, state, local, Bright Horizons, and client site requirements for immunizations, health, safety training, and physical screening. The role requires in‑person supervision, care, curriculum delivery, and services per Bright Horizons policies.
