Accounting Clerk

National Consumer Services Corporation is seeking a Junior Accountant to join our state-of-the-art facility in Deerfield. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a dynamic team and work with the latest financial systems and technology.

The Junior Accountant will manage high-volume daily, weekly, and monthly transactions across multiple bank accounts. This role is responsible for investigating discrepancies, posting journal entries, and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records.

• Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations for multiple checking, savings, and credit card accounts.
• Prepare and post journal entries related to bank activity, including fees, interest, and adjustments.
• Maintain organized records of bank statements and reconciliation reports to support audit requirements.
• Assist with month-end close by reconciling bank accounts and supporting balance sheet reconciliations.
• Collaborate with internal departments (AP/AR) and external banking partners to resolve outstanding transactions and discrepancies.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

• Minimum of 2 years of accounting experience, with a strong focus on high-volume reconciliations.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems required; familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics is highly preferred.
