We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to join our dynamic finance team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity of our financial records and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. This position involves a diverse range of responsibilities, including bank reconciliation, general ledger management, and handling accounts receivable and payable.

Key Responsibilities

As an Accountant, you will be responsible for accurately posting and processing journal entries to record all business transactions, systematically categorizing records in the general ledger by assets, liabilities, and expenses. You will prepare and review essential financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements, ensuring compliance with both legal and company accounting guidelines.

Conducting monthly, quarterly, and yearly closings will be a vital part of your role, along with assisting in the preparation of documentation for internal and external audits. You will also reconcile bank accounts, verifying deposits and addressing any inquiries, while ensuring accuracy through the reconciliation of transactions from various processors.

In addition to processing weekly payouts to merchants and affiliates, you will communicate effectively with clients to resolve any accounting issues they may encounter. Providing support to other accounting personnel and assisting with various accounting projects as needed will also fall under your responsibilities.

The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and possess over five years of relevant experience. Proficiency in accounting software like Quick Books and Oracle Net Suite is essential, along with advanced Excel skills. Strong verbal and written communication abilities will be vital in this role, enabling you to multi-task and prioritize effectively.

We are looking for a driven, self-motivated, and goal-oriented individual with excellent organizational skills and a keen attention to detail. You should have a solid understanding of general accounting and financial reporting principles and practices. The ability to work independently while also being a team player will be key to achieving success in this position.
