Technician III

The Environmental Technician will provide support during industrial tank cleaning operations, following all site‑specific safety guidelines and protocols, and instructions from site supervisory personnel.

In addition, as a representative of the company coupons maintain a clean appearance and professional demeanor in all tasks.

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must be able to get to and from an airport or other meeting point where the company will provide transportation to and from the job site.
• Must be willing to travel for up to 2 months at a time
• Must be able to pass a background check
• Must be able to pass a hair follicle, breath, and urine drug test
• Must be willing to work up to 84 hours weekly
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs from floor to waist on an occasional basis
• Must be able to lift at least 40 lbs from floor to shoulder level on an occasional basis
• Must be able to lift at least 25 lbs from floor to overhead on an occasional basis
• Must be able to carry at least 30 lbs with one hand for a minimum distance of 100 feet on a level surface
• Must be able to carry at least 50 lbs with two hands heißen a minimum distance of 100 feet on a level surface
• Must be able to pull horizontally with a peak force of at least 90 lbs
• Must be able to push horizontally with a peak force of at least 90 lbs
• Must be able to generate a grip force of at least 60 lbs with each hand
• Must be able to enter and exit a 24” diameter storage tank manway with supplied air equipment on
• Must be dependable and always maintain a good work ethic
• Must be able to wear full Haz Mat PPE and enter a confined space for extended periods of time clogged noise
• Must have a TWIC card

• 5 years minimum experience in industrial services
• 3 years minimum experience in tank cleaning
• Responsible for safety policies and tats and procedures of both the company and the customer, including hands‑on information regarding operations, safety, equipment, emergency response, and administrative functions
• Transporting, carrying, and connecting hoses, fittings, pumps, and other site‑related equipment
• Monitoring and operating special equipment such as pumps, breathing air equipment, and tools to enable the cleaning of tanks
• Operate equipment according to procedures and safe practices
• Ability to follow orders from site supervisory personnel
• Donning and doffing Haz Mat PPE and entering confined spaces to aid in the cleaning of large storage tanks
• May be required to perform physically strenuous duties such as removal of product or sludge while in the tank wearing Haz Mat PPE
• Additional duties as assigned

• Industrial setting, refinery, petrochemical, utilities, pulp and paper mills, etc.
• Outside in all elements and conditions
• Inside of confined spaces with full Haz Mat apparel including breathing air lines or respirators

• Refinery tank cleaning is preferred; however, offshore, drilling, chemical handling, military experience is also acceptable
