About
The Role
Our hiring office is dedicated to welcoming and onboarding new members of the workforce. In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring new hires are processed efficiently, accurately, and with a positive candidate experience.
This is a great entry-level opportunity for someone with strong people skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn more about Human Resources and Recruiting. The role is well-suited for an individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can juggle multiple priorities, and enjoys rolling up their sleeves to get the job done.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
* Greeting candidates as they arrive and aiding with questions.
* Supporting electronic onboarding and monitoring completion of computer-based training
* Coordinating pre-employment screenings and additional training requirements
* Setting up and maintaining accurate employee files
* Communicating with hiring managers, candidates, payroll, and team members regarding onboarding status
* Maintaining requisition tracking spreadsheets
* Accurately entering new hires into the payroll system once onboarding is complete
Requirements
Required Qualifications
* High school diploma or equivalent
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
* Ability to manage sensitive and confidential information with discretion
* Strong organizational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
* Reliable and punctual, with consistent attendance
* Professional and approachable demeanor
* Must be within reasonable commuting distance of Deer Park, Texas
Preferred Qualifications
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field
* Bilingual (English/Spanish)
* Experience in an administrative role
* Experience using HR information systems
